Mom: If Irving got you on compatible cell phone calling plans, I know what's coming next, Cathy! Cathy: Next he wants to switch us to the same internet provider. Mom: And then...?? Cathy: Then he wants to get our PDAs linked. Mom: And then...?? Cathy: Then he wants to convert us both to the same digital photo system. Mom: And then...? Then?? Then?? Cathy: Then it will all be broken or obsolete and we'll have to start all over. Mom: System failure. The new permanence.
Cathy’s mother: the ever-eternal romantic optimist where her daughter is concerned. Cathy and Irving are barely dating and already [mom] has got visions of wedding bells, grandchildren and “happily ever after” dancing around in her head!!!!! ;-)
Hi, rgcviper!
lightenup: Thanks for the info on your recent Salzburg trip. How long ago did your mom take that tour? Do you remember why she was so disappointed in it? If it’s been awhile and the tour company has received a lot of negative feedback, maybe they’ve improved it since then? Out of curiosity, when you say it’s expensive, how much is it currently per person? While I doubt I’ll ever get there, I still have hopes that maybe I will eventually . . . someday.
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone has/had a really nice day today! :-)
