Cathy: I'd like to try that dress again... then that one... then this one again... then that one... Salesomwan: Keep in mind that each gown takes at least half an hour to take down, carry in, put on and pin up. Cathy: Ok. I'd like to try that dress again... then that one... then this one again... then that one... Salesmoan: Another bride prepares to live happily ever after in the fitting room. Cathy: And that one! I didn't see that one!
I gotta admit, I wanted to try on a bunch of wedding dresses because although I’m not a girly girl, it was amazing how good they looked and I wanted to see all the styles. But… I refrained because the novelty wore off and I did feel bad for the shop worker. Those dresses are heavy and need to be cared for with a lot of attention!.Hello Cathy friends! It’s been a busy couple of days. I took Lil to a hospital on Monday to get her foot x-rayed, but I wasn’t happy with how the doctor handled us (she didn’t listen, interrupted a lot, made a decision that it “wasn’t serious” before the x-ray was taken, ignored me, waved off any questions, etc) so we went to see another one yesterday because I didn’t want to take a chance with it not healing properly. He was much better and confirmed it is a sprain. So Lil is on crutches for another week and then going down to 1 crutch, etc. The novelty of the crutches wore off after a couple of hours and now using them almost hurts more than the foot, so I’ve been carrying her when I can. Try carrying a 73 lb kid up and down stairs several times and up a hill and you can imagine how tired I was yesterday. Hopefully today will be better!
