Mom: Starting today, I am your official wedding planner! Cathy: Um..Are you sure this is a good idea? Mom: I will be your calm, grounded center. While 10,000 details swirl around, I will be in the middle, hysterically fixating on the 40,000 other details that have to be wrapped up in the next 236 days, 11 hours and 23 minutes!! I am mother! Eyeball of the hurricane!! Cathy: It's the "Eye of the Hurricane," Mom. Dad: Not in this happy house.
I don’t like this trend of hiring wedding planners. People really need to do their own work! Of course, my wedding was pulled together in three weeks and we only had 22 guests. But I did it all!
