Since I am now retired and living in Florida, most of the casual stuff we wear is on the cheap. And simple sandals or flip flops. I refuse to spend big bucks on shorts and tops. I’ve also learned that in this climate, clothes (even expensive ones) do not last. I will only spend big bucks on a dress for a wedding or New Years Eve gala…something like that. Otherwise? Walmart, Target, Costco (yes, they have clothing)…good enough.
I like to do “cultural” things like go to plays, the symphony, etc. when my budget allows. I’m always fascinated by the mix of ballgowns and blue jeans that I see wherever I go.

SOME of us prefer getting “dressed up” for certain things.

Wonder if Cathy styled her own hair for each new ’do, or if the shop does that as well? Either way, kind of impressive.
