Irving: Men are more efficient! I just cleaned my whole closet in four minutes! Cathy: I though you loved this shirt. Irving: Oh. I do. That one should stay. Cathy: This one's brand-new. Irving: Oops. That should stay, too. Cathy: These just need washing. Irving: Those should all stay. Cathy: You spent four minutes... ...And I'll have to spend an hour going through your box making sure you're not getting rid of the wrong things?! Irving: Like I said, men are more efficient!
My wife and are are the opposite. She bulldozes and I carefully check each one for residual memories.
Incredible waves on the lake today. Strong enough to lift a 3’ section of planking from my neighbour’s dock. Fortunately the section was still sitting on top of the dock. I grabbed a gaff hook to try and drag the section without having to enter the extreme splash zone along the retaining wall. Managed that ok but when I tried timing the waves to grab the section I got caught by at least two larger waves. I was soaked so calmly picked up the section and stored it safely on dry land. Came home and changed. The water is still not up to summer temperatures.
Have a great, dry, day today.
