If they can afford to buy doggie clothes, they can afford to move out.

Actually booties would be the only practical thing they could wear, for walking on concrete and blacktop. When my wife was out for a few days I would take the dog on long walks only to discover on returning that the pads on the bottoms of her feet were raw and she was licking them. Got her four booties and that solved the problem. She hated them at first and for the first couple of days she tried to get them off but eventually she got used to them and she never had problems again.

I don’t understand the dogs in clothes thing but if it keeps people sane and dogs out of the pound, fine. But not mine. No way. Except maybe for a bandana. Those are cool. Maybe a body halter so I don’t have to use a choking collar to leash him. …Oh crap

Our sweet little girl only weighed around 7 or 8 lbs. and had very fine hair. She really hated wearing her sweater but when we lived in Indiana, it was pretty much a necessity to put it on her every time she went outside during the winter if she was going to be out there for any longer than just a quick pee ….. especially when there was snow on the ground, which could often be as deep as she was tall! But once we moved to Georgia, though, I don’t remember ever needing to put it on her again because the winters here are so much more milder than where we used to live. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge a little over a year ago at the age of 17 but I’ve still got that one, lone little sweater of hers — along with her bowls, beds, collar, leash, and a few of her most favorite toys — and wouldn’t dream of parting with ANY of them for anything in the world! ♥

Is this some kind of displaced grandchildren thing?

“Had to buy”?? No, you HAVE to buy your own food and housing, which is what you should be doing. Not wasting it on dogs who really don’t want this stuff on them. I know this situation won’t last forever, but I really wish Irving kicks them out soon!

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

We used to have cat that would have really raised a royal ruckus if you had tried to dress her in an outfit.

ChaosandMayhem has it right. If they have the money for those needless, ridiculous expenses then they can afford to go to their own home.

A little rain here today. Feels refreshing after the heat we have had for the past week or so. Besides, I don’t have to start up the pump to water the lawn today. Have a sunny day today.

We had a cat with an arthritis problem, so we thought a sweater might help…It took him almost a minute to get it off…So we bought a much tighter one…By then he had practice and that one only took about 20 seconds to get off….Turned out the arthritis wasn’t in his back, but in his knees, so it wouldn’t have helped anyway.
