Cathy: Thanksgiving's almost here, mom, and I've come to you for your wisdom and time-saving tips! Mom: I like to get the TiVo going at 6:00am with "Emeril" reruns...mix in some "down home with the Neelys" ...A few fresh "Giada At Homes"... ...I can get "America's Test Kitchen" taping at the same time as "Semi-homemade"... ...And by dinner time, I can have 19 hours of cooking shows ready to watch! Cathy: Incredible. Dad: It takes a lot of experience to have it all come out at the same time!
Now that I’m exercising at home more, I switch between watching cooking shows and HGTV. I like the ones by Guy Fieri where the contestants have to make a dish from scratch, on their own, in a short time with the requirements that he throws at them. It’s usually quite amusing and I’m impressed with what they come up with. The ones where it’s a woman in a fully stocked kitchen with someone else to do the chopping, measuring, and dirty work for her, aren’t quite as interesting to me. I know she makes it look easy and has rehearsed it many times before.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Glad to have you back, karlykru!!! We missed you! ❤❤❤ Have a great day, all!
