Yup, those kind of crunches will definitely add on weight. I don’t snack after dinner and try to keep my daytime snacks healthy, and I’ve managed to stay a healthy weight in middle age. A healthy diet is key.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!
Unfortunately that is the only type of crunches I know how to do – but at least I limit the number per day. After losing a lot of weight during my chemo sessions I have, so far, managed to keep it off. Even had to purchase a new pair of pants to wear when flying. It got to be difficult holding my pants up after removing my belt to go through the metal detector.
I hope everyone is having a crunch free, or at least a limited number of crunches, day.
How true this is. And not just for men, either. Those delicious, salty little “crunches” you mindlessly chow down on while you sit around and watch t.v. are all fun and games until the 36-pack “spare tire” shows up that’s a whole lot harder to lose than it was to gain! (⊙_⊙)
Okay, Irving, it’s time for you to do the same two things I always advise Cathy to do (which she constantly ignores, of course):
1.) Don’t bring junk food of any kind into the house so you won’t be tempted to eat it.
2.) Get off your rear-end and start taking your poor, pudgy little pooch for daily walks around the neighborhood. That way, you and Vivien can spend more quality time together, and the extra exercise you get by doing that will help the BOTH of you lose weight!

I have my crunchies, but I also walk 3 miles every day…and do some ballet or yoga. Works for me.

I guess we’re in the middle of the official Irving showing off his gut week …
Interesting how the snacks here switched from chips to popcorn, too. Guess they’re showing multiple days.
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
