A manicure at what would have to be ten or eleven o’clock at night. Truly one of the great advantages of living in a major urban center like L.A. is that you can get nearly anything at any time.
Hmm. Mona does not appear to think so highly of Donna’s getting a faboo manicure before coming home to reassure her. —Especially after having to decipher that double negative Donna dropped in panel 1 (if taken literally as presented, it’s a case of “two negatives make a positive: didn’t…not do it”)

“I don’t think you guys didn’t do anything…” That’s more double negatives than I can deal with this time of night!

There’s either one too many or one too few negatives.(Unless this is some kind of Donna-speak that Mona knows how to interpret.)

I think she should’ve said, “I don’t think you guys didn’t do nothing.” That would have settled it.
