@StelBel – are you feeling better? If you have the same cold my husband has, my guess us no. He’s been hacking away for a week.

It’s interesting that Jones said that if any GM had done what he’d done in his place, he would have fired him. I’d love to see Jones unceremoniously dump himself. He should keep his nose out of the day to day operations and just sign the checks.

JP Steve, you have to get used to Dry. She;s known for being FEISTY! And Grog calls a spade a spade. So it just looks like they are fighting.

Now me, I can’t always tell, so I think that I’ve upset one of them, but I’ve learned not to be so sensitive. I call a spade a club and whack them with it if they get out of hand. (Hee-hee!)

Jerry is an idiot that had enough money to buy a football team. Too bad he doesn’t know how to run one! Most people in authority delegate, he is all about him and afraid to trust anyone else, even though he knows as much about football as I do about performing brain surgery.

Fellow Baby, I don’t think anyone’s stood up to Jones since Jimmy Johnson left. They have no say over player personnel. If they did, I don’t think Romo would still be there. He’s there because Jones likes him. Under Jimmy Johnson, he would have been history a long time ago.

A second teamer playing in the place of Emet in a game the Cowboys had well in hand fumbled the ball once. He wasn’t on the roster the following year.

Shika, I’ve got a Habs collection that includes the final game of a Habs/Leafs game from Maple Leaf Garden. I think it was from 1960 and the Habs won 4-0. The game was in bw it was so old – but I think largely intact. I’m glad that’s part of the collection too, because there were some great players on that team that I’d never seen play. Doug Harvey, the “Rocket” and Jacques Plante.

Shika, there’s always something that gets me to drooling on that show. There are a wide variety of eateries so there’s something for everyone’s taste buds even though many items may not work for your diet or high blood pressure or cholesterol or what ever you may or may not have problems with.

There’s a lot of stuff I drool over that would not be wise for me to eat.

JP Steve YOU SHOULD JOIN US MORE OFTEN! Me and Grog/Fellow Baby to me have a lot of similar interests and all is well! Shouting (BIG LETTERS, ETC) I guess can appear as yelling and fighting to some, but to some of those of us, it just means we are excited and discussing things as we would if we were face to face, no meanness, just excited. I don’t know if explained that right, but that is my opinion from personal experience and watching others interact as well!

AND YOU REALLY SHOULD MAKE MORE APPEARANCES SIR! It’s ALWAYS nice to see you! :-)

I’m thinking maybe it might have been a kitchen fire, cleo, but I was not dressed to go out there and find out. I got to admit I was worried not just for my neighbor but what might happen if there was a serious fire. There were a few vehicles out there with their loud lights flashing and eventually an ambulance showed, though I don’t think anyone required any serious medical attention that I could see.
