This happens to me in winter every single time I forget my umbrella, Sure enough the rain starts again even though it appeared to have finished.
I sincerely hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish you all the best for 2017.
I have just finished cleaning up a CATastrophic mess caused by my cat Ashley whom today managed to destroy a 60" Plasma Screen TV,Large Glass Table, Foxtel Pay TV Box and Wall clock.
I bet your all wondering how this occurred.
I received a Christmas gift of a really nice gold wall clock studded with glistening crystals, Which I hung above my TV with pride.
However this clock has exposed hands on the dial.
This morning young Ashley became been fascinated by the jerky movements of the second hand and manged to balance himself on the 1 inch wide rim on the top of the TV.
When I saw him there I quickly dashed across the room to remove him from my TV but unfortunately I was not fast enough to prevent disaster.
I was about 3 feet away from Ashley when he lost his balance and went crashing down.
He is a quite large cat for his age. His weight and momentum hit the TV knocking it over and sending it crashing down through a large glass table and striking a Foxtel Pay TV Box.
The vibration dislodged my new clock and it was wrecked.
The TV screen was badly cracked as well.
So I have a very expensive shopping trip when the shops open again after the christmas break.
I shudder to think how much Foxtel will charge me for a replacement Pay TV Box.
The worst part of this I don’t think any household insurance policy would cover damage caused by a mischievous young cat.
Ashley is unharmed and will eventually be forgiven, But is has been hard to look at him acting as though nothing has happened!!!!.
I know exactly how Cuddles feels.
