Coach Nordling: When you're goalie, you have three options to distribute the ball to your team. Remember -- Roll to control, throw if you know, kick if it's thick. If the area is clear, roll the ball to your player because that's easy to control. If there are opponents nearby and you know you can throw it safely to your player downfield, do that. And if the area is thick with bad guys, then kick the ball to move it to the other end of the field. Any questions? Boy: Thick? Coach Nordling: Well, it rhymed with kick. Boys: How about, kick if it's sick? Or, punt if you're a runt? I know! Boot it or toot it. Coach Nordling: Let's not lose our focus, boys.
