Coach Nordling: Okay, kids, we're going to pick a new team name. How about the owls? Team: Lame! Coach: C'mon, an owl is a predator! They attach and eat rodents and stuff. Boy #1: Rodents? Boy #2: Rats. Boy #3: Cool. I like it. Boy #4: Me too. Coach: So you like the Owls? Team: No, we like the Rat Eaters! Yeaaaaa!!
At that young age, the refs are teaching the kids the rules along with refereeing.
