Peri continues Coach Neely's story. The headless soulkeeper of horrible Dr. Motubu. Raymond followed the grotesque goalie as it crossed the cemetery and exited through a twisted break in the old iron fence. There was a hill behind the cemetery. It was slick from the rain, but Coach Neely was able to stumble down it without being discovered. At the bottom of the slop was a swamp. The weird, headless thing crossed a bridge to a shack in the middle of the swamp. Creepy, huh?
If it wasn’t for the look on Peri’s face in the last panel, I would have said that he had set up for the good Doctor Mortubu’s appearance. However, maybe the coach is taking advantage of Peri’s story to get some scaring on his own.
