It's about this young pioneer girl's life in the late 1800s. Jack: A girl book? If I'm going to read about a girl, it's going to be Abby Wambach or Mia Hamm. Deanna: Your son needs to broaden his literary interests. Gary: Yeah, he left out Maria Sharapova.
If you want kids to read you have to find books that interest them.
