PETA strikes again!

Is that like the “born on” date for beer annotation? Does part of the price that you pay for meat go to the estate of the donor? Why am I suddenly hungry for the Supreme Meat Lovers Special Tombstone Pizza?

Oh my lord, the butcher finally got Stan and Rory! You beepstard! We lost Annie yesterday, and now we’ve lost The Barn ! LOL (Just kidding!).

A well-known vegan suffers a massive stroke and is left without any signs of brain activity.

Upon reading his chart, the nurse says: “Huh… so I guess it’s true: you really are what you eat.”

I know–it’s a groaner. Seemed a good time to share it though..(^_-)

Dominion (although I would contest it’s legitimacy, being as I am a Non-Theist) must imply responsibility. Dominion does not mean we can do anything we please.

The agribusiness model of providing our food has been monstrously irresponsible.

While I think that PETA’s response has been irresponsible and terribly misguided, (and quite stupid and horribly misinformed as to what is or is not good for animals) I do share their horror at the way farm animals are raised. Animal confinement is purely and simply torture.

PETA’s “solution” of releasing them into the wild is shear idiocy.

Between torture and idiocy there is responsible agriculture. The best farms raise both animals and crops. Monoculture is insane.

Someone said that being a vegan means don’t eat anything that has a mother… following that, all that’s left is water. EVERYTHING has a mother - even yeast!

Meat is murder. Tasty, tasty murder.

Grew up on a farm, and the steers sometimes had names. Never bothered anyone when it came time to fill the freezer.

The only way PETA ever influenced me was make me crave KFC when I saw their protest billboards.

According to the Urban Dictionary, a vegetarian is “A bad hunter. Someone who survives by consuming not food, but the stuff that food eats.”
