“iven that the Persian Al Khwarizmi is credited with inventing algebra, this works on several levels”, he said smugly.

Actually, it was a lie, there was no algebra or WMD in the class room.

I had an English teacher who was that creative. He once ran down the hall with a starter’s pistol yelling, “They’re hanging Louis Riel!!”

If anyone deserves to be invaded it’s fourth period algebra.

I wouldn’t mess with my 4th period algebra class. They’ll throw the book at the invaders and I would have to resort to Weapons of Math Instruction and my Random Axe of Kindness!

I live in a country where we listen to our Russian friends and they said there were NO WMD in Iraq. My father-in-law from the USA flipped when I told him my intelligence source. He wanted to sell me swamp land in Florida. The CBC also ran a 1/2 hour show about the lead up to the war, their take was a few Iraqi refugees that had the ears of the right people in the House and Congress. After the war machine started these dissidents disappeared.
