Bleeb, at least you have been spared the more nefarious aspects of working from home.
Of course, missing out, I’m sure that pisses you off.
Closer to the truth than we would like to believe!
Boss: “… and I’m having trouble adapting to having employees back in the office.”
Thats ok, they can go back to enjoying themselves at home
Lots of folks are out of work, I’ll hire new people
A recent poll found 40% don’t want to go back, but continue to work from home.
Some companies found workers more productive from home! But, those bosses who liked to control people were glad to be back in power.
NEW OFFICE DRESS CODE:
Business Casual Monday
Jammies & Teddy Bear Tuesday
Bathrobe Wednesday
Naked Thursday
SuperHero Costume Friday
(Note: Employees may vote to change whatever part of the new dress code chosen, but Naked Thursday stays!)
My work desk would have a PS5. Stop by my cubicle for some madden if you like :)
Thanks for the info Captain Obvious
Old habits are hard to break..Oy
there is a professional cornhole league and it is a televised sport
Uncle Joe is paying a lot of people to stay home!
I’m surprised so many places are demanding employees go back. It’s much cheaper to have them work at home.
Bleeb seems a bit nonplussed.
Looks to me like the employees adapted just fine. It’s like they never left home.
Even before the pandemic, some people were working from home, and some people were homing from work.
I never got a chance to work from home. My job requires specialty equipment that I could not take home, so I was at the office when no one else was.
Although I will admit that the commute was fantastic with no one else on the road
Waving back at you Bleeb! There’s the hot tub, you know you wanna!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
The “work from home” genie is out of the bottle. Businesses that won’t allow remote working when they can will have trouble finding and keeping employees.
