Ok, now you had to see that coming! I remember not wanting to go out in the rain and my mother saying, “You are not made of sugar, you won’t melt”. Didn’t work for Elphaba I guess!

So she died when she was 10? Did she get resurrected somehow?

In the original book, she was so old that she had simply dried up inside and out. Of course, you’d think that water might plump her back up like a raisin, but I suppose water could also just disperse her dust?However, that means 10-year-old Witchie would NOT melt.

What a world.

Must have grown her legs back….

I’m more concerned about the “yellow brick road” in the pool

Looks like Bleeb is doing a little “peeping Tom” action. Peeping Bleeb?

The pool trauma led to her becoming wicked.

So – the results are reversible? She did live to adulthood…

And she had such interest in the water polo team!

She just now discovered she has a problem with water? So she hasn’t had a bath in 10 years? I can understand why they are throwing water at her.

I knew it, it’s the chlorine, not the water; things the author of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” didn’t tell us kids…

“Hey! No witch hazel in the pool!”

That was just a case of WAY too much chlorine in the water.
