Yeah Drac won’t have any problem finding a vein.

He’s so vein.

Gee how many attempts would he need?

During one of my stays in the hospital it took a total of 12 tries to get enough blood for the lab.

2 tries for the trainee, 2 for their trainer, then they got the supervisor involved, a couple of tries to get a vein, but then the blood stopped before they got enough. when they thought they were done, it turned out that the sample had been contaminated so they had to start over again.

“Dr. Acula, paging Dr. Acula… please report to the Phlebotomy Lab.”

Veins, I don’t need no stinking veins!

If I was a Dr, or better yet a phlebotonist, I would sooo wear a cape at work.

When in hospital, they have to call the pic lady with the ultrasound machine so she can find veins on me!

The patient’s legs seem to be detached from his torso.

Now watch closely, Bleeb. What you learn can come in real handy! :)

Another stab in a vain attempt at humor. Doesn’t that suck!

The behavior that Bleeb is about to observe will likely be much more interesting than yesterday, but the nurse would be wearing scrubs, so after a great day on Monday, poor Bleeb is now going through a rough patch.

Don’t blame the doctors, blame the cartoonist: He couldn’t draw blood either.

At a blood drive the tech marvelled at how easy it was to find my veins and offered to try putting the needle in blind-folded. I passed.

Drac will be back later as he works best at night!

I thought he preferred the carotid artery. It’s quicker than the jugular vein.

Just went through this pre-surgery ! Felt like a pincushion attacked by a porcupine !
