One of my dogs is wagging so often, I sometimes think it is another life form. She has even wagged in her sleep.Real renewable energy source. But is the food she eats consume more energy to make than she generates?
The laws of thermodynamics says the food takes more energy to make, so not viable.
If they make their contraption a little more portable, you could charge your phone while you walk your dog. And if he sees a squirrel, your phone would be fully charged in less than 30 seconds.
Tail wagging is nothing! My daughter and son-in-law have a dog who has perpetual energy when it comes to chasing a thrown ball. She’ll keep doing it and asking for more until she drops from exhaustion.
My daughter’s pooch, a mix of Boxer and Great Dane a powerful tail…it either smarts when we’re in its way or thumps on the floor when he’s laying down!

There is a lot of power in them, the trick is keeping the dog happy.

An Oscillating electric generator would be more efficient, and would not create the pollution that that tank is emitting.

The tails of happy Sheperds, Labs and other retrievers can be classified as deadly weapons.

Huh. Have you ever seen a wolf wag its tail? I imagine they do, but I’ve never seen evidence of it.

Not exactly a clean energy solution, judging by the smoke.
