EMET Ever try water polo? Water temp might be a little cool for that though.

Johanan - It usually takes several days of below freezing weather to freeze a pond over, at least thick enough to support human body weight. Here in KS, it can be quite nice weather on day, then a cold front moves in and drop several inches of snow the next day.

appearances can be deceiving (personally, I first thought he was going to hunt the bird than go ice skating)

Rmom, obviously it’s been too long since I lived in the Midwest.

But then, B.C.’s country just had a very sudden freeze (enough to trap a fish out of water in mid-jump), so why shouldn’t B.C. expect frozen water? :))
