Don’t know that I’d take the kid on the wedding night, even though they’ve been shacking up for a while now.

Confusion between father & son? I’m not suprised. I’m 57 and often need a translator when talking with my 29 year old son. Sometimes we’re on different pages and sometimes I just don’t get it. (Not like the relationship I had with my father -ha, ha!)

I thought he meant the seafood too. Maybe Janis will offer to keep Meg for a night or two as long as they promise not to make more shrimp.

poor pun. poor Arlo is often portrayed as a clueless dim bulb like the dad’s in most sitcoms. more support of Hanna Rosin’s book “The End of Men”

You mean he refers to the child as the shrimp?

It took me a few minutes to realize he meant the kid..Also, Arlo is not often portrayed as a clueless dim bulb like dad, he and like most of us don’t always understand what was just said..Last week Arlo noticed Janis feeling down and offered a second honeymoon. Not a dim bulb there.

My daughter in law had a little girl before she and my son got married. My dil’s birthday was 3 days after they got married, I offered to take my new grand daughter for a couple of hours so that they could have some alone time on her birthday..my dil’s mother showed up shortly after I left and insisted she needed to be with her daughter for her birthday..would not allow them to have their much needed alone time..my son was deployed the following week for 5 month to the war

I believe the boat is not involved. He said the farm.
