Maybe people go on strike because they’re tired of having their pay, their benefits, and their respect taken away? At some point you’ve got to say “if this job is worth doing, it’s worth paying someone to do it.” I learned yesterday that cheerleaders for major sports teams get $75 per game. I’d say THEY are due for some union organizing.

You do know that it’s a lockout (and therefore initiated by the NFL), not a strike (which would have been initiated by the refs), right?
