Walking on the tracks is dangerous any way you look at it. This is getting really adventurous, with the rain and stranger. They are 100 miles from home so it couldn’t be Walt, Joel, or Rufus.
Smart phones have great GPS and maps. When you find you are really lost, there is no cell coverage. Be sure to preload maps before the trip. It is a lower level menu on Android.
True story. Back when I was doing remodeling work we stop at a gas station to ask for directions. No one in the store ever heard of the street we were looking for. I had it write down and showed it to them all and one man even went as far as to say" I have live hered 30 years and have never heard of that road" As we as sitting in the truck trying to find out just where we were I look up and across the street is the road sign for the road we were looking for. I went back I the store and told them. They all acted like it was news to them like it just appeared out of thing air.

No danger of being hit, the train has already been through, you can see its tracks.

I live on a dead end street and if I was out front
people were always stopping to ask directions.
If someone stops to ask for directions I say “Do you have $5 ?”
I made $15 dollars one week..And people..please beware of
Yahoo and Mapquest..Those map sites can lead ya astray
(Ya can’t get’ thar from here..eh?)
