I recently lost a dear friend who was into hot rodding and carshows like I am. He’d just but new brakes on his ‘56 DeSoto that he’d owned for over 40 years. His daughter recently had it appraised by a reputable auction company;$56,000 dollars. No dings in it either !!!

Just try finding one….I saw an Edsel for sale two days ago- $3500, and it was in original, rusty condition.

Bodywork is a ding for every ding, but if the repair is done well, well worth it. (art form in fact, unlike a 57 DeSoto, except in some eyes.)

I’ve always preferred Cadillacs….back when they made real ones.
