So… lose the batteries

Sometimes you have to take the good with thebad Earl.

Earl is like an ole fellow in my mother’s town of Portadown, Armaugh who pretended to be deaf. He’s like Billy Weir, what he don’t want, he don’t hear !

Geezer #1. “I got one of these newfangled hearing aids. Cost a fortune, top of the line.”

Geezer #2. “Really? What kind is it?”

Geezer #1. “About half past one.”

That’ll teach you to upgrade.

My grandma had selective hearing….she could hear perfectly fine when we didn’t want her to. RIP Grandma.

Why don’t you puncture one of your eardrums, the one closest to the kitchen…save the other one for TV.

I just pretend to hear.

If you live alone you don’t have to listen to anything you don’t want to hear. ( or eat, or watch, or go, or time line etc ) I love it.

My dad just got hearing aids for the 1st time, and I am happy. I got tired of hearing “huh, what” and having to repeat myself everytime I said something. My brothers & I finally talk him into them, but they are expensive.But if I had a choice of losing my hearing or my sight I choose hearing. Hope I never lose either one!!!

Just complain to Opal about ‘this damn new hearing aid isn’t working’.

Turn em off Earl or at least act like they are off.
