I need something to occupy me between the Super Bowl and July…the NHL was it (I can’t stand basketball at any level).

Well, speaking from Canada, I am so relieved that there’s no hockey! Except now all people can talk about is the strike! So in a way it hasn’t helped that much. At least Sidney Crosby’s head is safe for a while.

Either team A will win or team B will win.Will either outcome affect my standard of living next year?(Might mention governments love sports, ie when a big game is on they can pass anything without anyone noticing)

I have a hard time cheering for a five-million dollar player making more money for his billionaire owner and zero sympathy when they all want more and a night out at the game can set you back several hundred bucks.
