Amazingly, I and many of my friends still have those old turntables unk. We don’t use them very often, but sometimes we’ll just get together and play old out of print albums that none of us has on cd and make a “record party” out of it. One of the guys even runs a recording studio, and records strictly to tape, instead of digitally which is the norm these days. Besides my regular record player, I also own an old 1916 Victrola which works perfectly and is in original condition. It’s a beautiful piece of furniture as well as a fun toy with which to play.
