Actually, the bill might be a good thing for some of the more beleaguered Dems. At least they will have something big to show for their stay in office, unlike the previous Congress. Yes, they would have to argue that the bill was a positive step, but what else do they have to run on? Opposing Bush was good enough to get some of them elected in 2004, 06 or 08, but now they need to show they have done something themselves.

Acorn may have a say . Their job is helping the “non voting” see where the butter on their bread came from . No budget cuts , no hiring freeze .
