Palin actually did graduate from a light weight college, but Rush flunked out.

This, in a nutshell, is Palin’s message. I think Christopher Hitchens once referred to her as a boastful ignoramus.

Well, if anyone’s an expert on boastful ignorami, it’s Hitchens …

You know, I just don’t get why Palin is still in people’s minds (especially with regards to liberals)… she’s just a quitter.

Maizing & Susan001: Back in 2008, even the NY Times questioned McCain’s judgment in picking then-Governor Palin from a state with a population of 680,000 (roughly the same pop. as the twin cities where the Republicans were meeting). To put this in even better perspective, the county where I live has a population of approximately 1,800,000 (2008 census). The county were I live has almost 3 times the population of Alaska, and this is just one county in a state with over 60 counties. Was the NYT on target in questioning Palin’s executive experience? As to her academic record, that seems to be a better tie-in with today’s strip, but others have already recently commented on that, so I am just going along with the comments above. :-)

She’s there because they (especially with regards to liberals) are scared to death of her.

They do not want to underestimate her like they did Bush.

Her answer about the diff between pit bulls and soccer moms (“teeth!”) turned me off. That and the constant winking.

Ahahahaha!! Scared to death of Palin??

    AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Of PALIN?!?!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA …

The most scared I am about Palin is that the Republicans get a clue and DON’T nominate her next time out.

McCain’s nomination of Palin, was by some accounts a concession to the more conservative members of the party. Looking at things from overseas, we’re scared that America is going to vote in another Geo. Bush - and Palin seems to fit the bill.

love Doonesbury - i remember his Cartoon from 1980 after Reagan was voted in (from memory). What’s green and glowing on inauguration day? Iran.
