Good one, Linus — it’s payback for all those times Snoopy tried to steal your blanket!

During WWI, there really weren’t any commercial airlines.Even today, there are no good commercial airlines.

Sopwith made a triplane before they made the “Camel”.

Sopwith Camel pilots can be a little jumpy at times.

Was this the first appearance of Snoopy as the WWI fighter pilot?

Thanks Top Cat, made my morning. I seem to remember a movie from my youth called, ‘The Blue Max’. One of the main characters was George Peppard. It was very popular at the time and I believe that CS was doing this arc about then as well. Great biplane air battles. I have often wondered if Schultz took inspiration from the movie. This has always been my favorite Snoopy series. A joy to see this morning.
