Quite true, Joe. Although, it might be nice to see them grow older - if even ever so slowly, so that they aren’t the same age we are when they grow up.
Television shows have to deal with that reality and sometimes its nice to see the change and sometimes it’s kind of scary. Home Improvement’s Mark and Rosanne’s Darlene come to mind. Of course, the likes of Leave it to Beaver and My Three Sons never really went there.
