Victoria: Only a few more questions, Joe, to determine our suitability to marry... when you think of marriage now, does it: a. Terrify you b. Paralyze you c. Make you want to hide in the closet. Joe: Uhh... Victoria: Oh, wait... never mind. That's a question I had for myself. Joe: Which answers my questions about your questionnaire.

They both outta wake up, and just go to bed.

vexatron1984 Isn’t that D? I only saw 3 choices. And, yes, that was the question I had, because I would choose all of the above.

As long as wndrwrthg doesn’t ask the air speed velocity of a 5 ounce sparrow…
ronaldmundy about 15 years ago
english sparrow or african sparrow?
kpduty about 15 years ago
Aha! Wiley got me! I didn’t see that coming… Victoria is the one afraid of marriage so she’s trying to scare Joe off… hmmmm… Maybe it’s the thought of Danae as a stepdaughter that has her quaking.

So that was Victoria’s secret!
btw: I like Brenda better too.

So she is afraid and wants to clarify things and feel better about a possible future with Joe; otherwise, why bother with the questions? My guess is Joe is aware of this. He has certainly been going slowly with the relationship so he was giving her space to sort it out… OK, I admit I’m an optimist.

Except Joe (JAD) had already offered D. None of the Above. in the previous comment. And we’ve already seen Joe (in the cartoon) offer additional answers.
If you want “All of the above”, you likely aren’t quite ready–unless there is an equal excitement, or a realization that you need to do this with this person…

The first question better not be “What is your name?”, and if the second one is “What is your quest?” then the answer’s pretty obvious isn’t it.

bmonk Somehow I missed Joe’s comment. So E it is, then.

wndrwrthgGenius_badge states “Ere you share the bridal bed with me, first you must answer these questions three” as a quotation. From what, exactly, is that line a quote, or is it from yourself?
Trebor39 about 15 years ago
Now you say yes, Joe, yes to all three. Accentuate with NO MARRIAGE, NO, NEVER! Then hope you get away with it.

This quote seems familiar to me, but I can’t remember where it’s from. My mind associates it with some myth or legend type story though.
hymenoxis about 15 years ago
wndwrthg’s quote is a slight alteration of a line from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”
wndrwrthg about 15 years ago
Rustyhoundog, as hymenoxis says, it is a paraphrase of a line from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.
