Go Tigers!

I’m with Buck on this one :) Most of the time, watching baseball ranks right up there with watching paint dry.

Baseball is a fascinating game – so many ways to pitch and score. People who think baseball is boring usually like soccer, which is really boring—just kicking a ball back and forth with no variation. Baseball rules are complicated – ground rule doubles, balks, stealing bases,etc. I watch every Yankee baseball game, including spring training games, and I wait eagerly for each new season to begin. Bucky would like to watch “My Cat From Hell” on the Animal Channel. Darby isn’t taking sides because Rob’s baseball cap doesn’t show a team logo. Go Yankees!

There are a lot worse “sports” on TV, such as golf, darts, billiards…fine if you want to do them, but not much as TV viewing. I remember a TV show from the 60s that had 2 old guys sitting in a rowboat, fishing. Just sitting there, waiting for a bite, not saying much.The BBC runs darts on TV from 2 to 7 PM during the “season.” Straight through. Bucky would be comatose by then.

The most enjoyable baseball games for me were announced by Vin Sculley on warm Sunday afternoons when the world seemed a more benign place.

Not a whole lot beats a good ballgame on a warm day or evening with a cold brew and food of choice.

With Rob’s BoSox out of it this year, perhaps Bucky has a point!

Word up!! Warm evening, good brew and food of choice, heck even an old magazine would be good company. Without the first two, nothing special.

I really don’t like sports on tv. There is just something about watching a baseball game live that makes it fun

I’d rather watch a bad football game than a good baseball game....And besides which, baseball stopped being relevant to me when they cancelled the ’94 series.

Bucky must be having a field day mocking Rob and his looser Red Sox. Missing the playoffs, a horrible ending to last season, them trading half of their main players for nothing and having a horrible manager

I do not like baseball, in fact I hate it.

The reason baseball is played in the summer is that it’s too hot to move around much.

Nice to see a Red Sox cap, a sign of calm and loyalty in a year of mayhem!

PS- till I learned about the subtle competition in baseball from some long-time fans, I thought it was a snooze.

Someone hit you on the head too hard? the 49’ers would be competing for the super bowel and the stanley cup is FREAKING HOCKEY! get it right lol. Whats next Theo? Tiger Woods competing to win the Daytona 500? no no maybe its Usain Bolt competing in a chess tourney lol.

This is how I feel whenever my friends ask me to watch sports with them.
