I guess it’s time to post today’s animation solution, and go to bed before I fall asleep again….
Do I lead an exciting life or what?
I do correspond with the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA, which Can bia bit of excitement, when she makes us a brand new solution…
I’m so easily entertained I can sit and watch it for…um… a while longer than I want to admit.
Just so you, too, can be entertained…. and check your solution….
but NOT until you’ve done your best to solve it, please…

You know, I’ve read arguments… or let’s say discussions… as to how one must refer to files labelled “.gif” …
Is it pronounced “Giff”, as in “gift” or “Jiff” as in “just a jiffy”?
I personally have always said “giff” (hard G) but the inventor of the format said it was supposed to be “Jif” like the peanut butter.
Even so, the very geekiest of geeks don’t always agree.
Some say inventing a file type didn’t give him carte blanche to change the pronunciation of the English language…
citing words like “gift” and “gilt” and the name “Gilbert,” as examples.
I agree … but reluctantly point out, in opposition to my own preference, that “giraffe” and “giblets” have soft G’s.
The problem, if it is one, is that English is a melting pot language….
we borrow and assimilate, and downright steal, words from other languages willy-nilly, with no regard for their conformation to our own, almost non-existent, rules of pronunciation.
So, I suppose it’s with a sense of relief that I now must conform to the directive set down for me by the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA….
who insists that I not call this one a giff OR a jiff…
Got them all, but the one that took the longest was one of the obvious ones.
Not pertaining to anything, but have a strange story. Recently renewed my cable/internet/phone package. They promised a $50 debit card for my loyal use of the service. Card arrived today with a total of $0.01 balance. That’s right. They mailed me a debit card/gift card with a 1 cent balance. Tried calling, but didn’t get anyone. Tried online chat and after explaining and waiting 5 min with nothing from person on the other end of the chat said never mind. I’ll go by the brick and mortar Monday after work. Should be amusing if nothing else.

Hello, Cleo family, visitors, and guests….
In case anyone doesn’t know, we’re still having problems with the Sherpa site…
so Nighthawks has posted today’s Jan 4th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” strip as a link, above.
But it’s Saturday…. “Find the Differences” puzzle day on Cleo….
and I’ve brought you my side by side panel version…. just to save your eyes a bit of strain…..
https://i.postimg.cc/m2ghdDgc/Cleo-nine-differences-Jan-4th-20.jpg
I’ll be back in a bit with another “animation solution”, as well, from our semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA….
who is stel cooperating with this endeavor…
Sherpa or no Sherpa!
A word…. there is a teeny tiny almost invisible little misplaced line in one panel that is NOT a difference.
If you find it, don’t count it….
none of the nine that count are teeny tiny almost invisible little misplaced lines.

Maybe Gary’s problem isn’t a small office, it’s a fat head.
