    The front of the magazine.

Of course, if you get an expensive good-quality item the first time you might not need to replace it at all.

I’m with you, ejcapulet. When you want something to last, don’t buy cheap - buy quality.

hey , my ‘mister microphone’ still works great after all these years……..

“HEY, GOOD LOOKIN’! WE’LL BE BACK TO PICK YOU UP!”

the babes just can wait to jump in my car when I do that!

and don’t even get me started on how well my clapper still turns off the lights…

Oh my gosh, I LOVE my clapper! I use it to turn off the TV when I want to go to sleep (no remote in the bedroom).

One year, I hooked it to my Christmas tree so I wouldn’t have to get down on the floor to unplug it. All was fine until my husband and I went out to eat. When we came home, all five of our dogs started barking when they heard the car pull up, as they normally do. The Christmas tree in the window was going crazy!! On, off, on, off, on, off, on, off….It was hilarious!

bald 716 My point is to buy quality. In the case of durable goods you get what you pay for, sometimes it’s less, but usually it’s more. When it comes to food no name brand is as good as the rest.
