No, it ’s not creepy. It just looks like it, because of the weather. I think that this is a real romantic story. And the car they are looking for? They might get it for free.

so why did the guy ask to go home if he doesn’t go in…and what kind of tending is Ma going to do?

The pick up truck belonged to this guy, and Ma’s selling it because the guy is dead!!

The guy’s eyes don’t have pupils – another reason he seems like a ghost.

“Who you gonna call?……….”

…and of course Slim’s GA jacket will be carefully folded and resting on the headstone.

What terrific art once again! The simplicity of the first panel and then the detail of the second, illuminated as if by lightning. Jim has an amazing eye and hand at these things.

OzzieJohn, eyes with no pupils is (are?) a GA standard. Lots of the characters have them – Corky’s wife Hope, for example. Might be intended as light blue or grey? But I agree his eyes do add to the spookiness. I agree, Axe-grinder has hit on it.

I’ll bet the passenger is a ghost—his body is buried in the graveyard. Ma will explain this.

Never noticed that Skeezix has a personalized plate.

It looks sort of like the Addams Family mansion.
