I can remember a Dipper Dan ice-cream parlor here that sold the BEST Butter Pecan ice-cream ever! Just the right amount of salty pecans with that creamy buttery taste. Cones were 25c in the 1970s.
when I was a kid during the dinosaur age a single cone was 3 cents, and a double was a nickle. When Baskin Robbins first opened cones were 17 cents for a single and 33 cents a double. And they were still higher priced than other sellers.
I’d never deny my dog the pleasure of licking out the ice cream carton. Although, since my mom passed away, there aren’t nearly as many (Mom loved her ice cream).

Butter pecan was my dad’s favorite flavor. I never saw him licking a carton though.
