And after she left, Phil said “who was that?” And the mystery woman said “someone lost. Would you like me to shake out the rugs today or shall I do it when I come next week?”
LOL, ejcapulet! Although Elly’s involved because it’s her brother and friend, Connie really needs to get a spine and stop running to her everytime something happens that’s not following the romance novel that she’s writing in her head.
So why didn’t she just say “I’m a friend of Phil and Elly and she asked me to drop his pipe by while I was in town”. No need to run away. They are after all “just friends”, right?
Connie is up to her eyeballs in fantasy about Phil. Apparently she didn’t learn in high school that chasing someone doesn’t turn out well. There’s tons of rejection in the dating game. Just move on to the next fish in the sea.
When will it dawn on Connie that she is nothing but a CHEAP TRAMP? She thinks she’s so smart, but she can’t figure that out.
She could have been buying her kid some food or toys, or clothes, instead of paying for hotel rooms to chase some schmuck around hoping to get some, or should I say, give it away for free and pay for it on top of it all. Cheap, stupid, tramp!
If a man wants you, even a tiny bit, he’ll chase you and do goofy things to get your attention. You do not chase men.
Now I have to read yesterday’s. I have 3 days to catch up on.
I find it more sad than anything else. This poor woman has built up a fantasy with Phil. She’s extremely hurt right now because this dream is shattered. I’m tired of the Connie bashing. Life is difficult as a single mother and very lonely too! I wish we all could be perfect however sometimes we dream of some white knight or fairy godmother to take us away. She loves her son and will get back to him but sometimes the day to day grind gets to you.
Why did Connie ask the woman who answered the door if Phil lives in the house with the woman (could be a roomate?) or not. That won’t hurt to ask before telling about Phil’s pipe to drop off for Phil. Sighhhhhh! I am sure Connie will feel fool out of herself!
Hi,
I am trying to add
‘For better or for worse’ to Mycomics page and am not successful. Can you do it for me or kindly tell me how.
I read the instructions to add a comic and found nothing on the left side of the page to continue with.
Thank you
Siviat
I feel badly for her. It’s not easy being a single mom. You would love to have someone to care for you, when your whole life is about caring for someone else. You can’t make a move without thinking about your child, and no matter how much you love them, you still can wish a spouse were around so you could occassionally say “I’m running to the store, be back in a few hours.”

So the dummy never did find out who the woman was or learn that she was at the wrong house. Typical.

connie should have gotten phil’s phone number from elly and called him and possibly found out if he was in a relationship
but then that would have made sense

Well, today’s installment was a let down.
Left out a bit of the story for us, didn’t you? Not nice!

Try going to HELP, then click on FAQ’s. It will tell you there how to add a comic to your page or your email.
