Maybe they both seem to be fading…depending on point of view. She is leaving Marx’s plane, and he cannot follow. From Marx’s POV Flask is fading. to Flask, it seems that Marx is fading.

Or not. Just have to see.

Okay, gang.. Two more items on the auction block this week.. The original art for Flask’s mutant-making rampage.. and another request: a color drawing of Flask and Marx tonsil boxing.. Thanks to all who participate in these auctions.. The proceeds really do help keep Endtown alive.

I had hoped that a redeemed Flask would return to Endtown and this is a graceful way for the omnipotent Marx to move on. Always thought he was a little too easy a solution.

So, Marx wasn’t cruel… He was putting her through a crucible. His tears when leaving Mallard were for the ordeal she was to face before she could return.

Well, that blows most of the plot-theories I had over the weekend. Which leaves us with the question: “Where is Flask going?”

On the strip.Marx is from another “Reality” so he is just passing through this one. His device is what allows him to get manipulate and get back and forth. It is usually spinning in frames we have seen it. Has it slowed? Is it time for him to return. Did he as he said when this first started LEARN so his work is done. 08-27-12 panelsMuch like another story. Came to earth to learn the ways of the world, experience live, love and finally death. And in that death (or leaving this reality) took the sorrows and sins so the world or even just one person could know there is hope. But what do those beautiful eyes see?

To TSOJRead Friday post. You did leave you chocolates unguarded. But remember what you give you get back in droves.Yes I said “droves” you know old Texas term for little two wheel wagons hauling goods around locally. You know like those tiny delivery trucks they have in Japan. Cute cute cute. I call them pocket trucks. But you know what I miss the most from Japan.SHIN CHAN. or Crayon Shin Chan as he was referred to over there.I was in Japan one time for 4 days. 1964 while going overseas to join my dad at a construction job he was working on in West Pakistan now Pakistan (Mangla Dam Project it is still there even my old house is still there in the Baral Colony)Stayed at the Imperial Hotel right across from the Emperor’s Palace. Could see it from the room. Soooo beautiful. It was the only place where you could go into a park and it was like the sounds outside turned off.

Did get to see the Flintstones while in Japan (Popular at the time. Most anticipate episode was the birth of Peebles.)Wilma was the same in Japanese as it was in English. Nothing else could I understand but Wilma was easily identifiable. The rest sounded like rapid fire words by a auctioneer. Even the canned laughter was different sounding.Did get to see Kabuki theater, a Sumo match, taste great food. Did not know what it was, did not ask, it was better that way.

What she sees? Her own reality coming towards her? His reality going past?Remember this is a crossroad.Maybe she’ll wake up. Maybe it’s all a dream and she is awakening on the day of the mission so she can make changes to the path she was going to take from what she has learned now. Therefore their paths would never had crossed so the fading. Each returning to their starting points.Changing the time lines. If you go back in the past and change something does that change the future? If you made sure your parents never meet would you still exsist? If you started all over again would you reach the same point you are now?Choices are what makes us. We are what we are because somewhere we made a choice. All the different choices have led you to where you are now. Change one thing? What would happen?Flask has recovered her humanity. She has passed the Schism they all fear. Accepts what she cannot change and move on.Just thoughts.Maybe its a parade coming!I felt TSOJ may say that.

I suppose it’s possible this is all in Flask’s mind—if Marx could get into her dream. Or…maybe Marx wouldn’t have to to be there and this is an experience similar to that shown in Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge; All That Jazz; or Brazil.

As far as the heat dissapation, how about the river flowing through the town? The grate is there to prevent the citizens from the falls behind it. That would be an excellent source of removing heat to wherever it goes.As far as Flask goes:Religion is for those who don’t want to go to Hell. Spiritually is for those who’ve already been there. Whether she knows it or not, whatever she’s looking at Aaron Marx gave her the spirit to handle it.
