Just so you’re all aware, kids do actually have to put their phones in their backpacks for tests – and if they’re caught using one, they fail. Teachers caught onto the tricks pretty early on. One teacher makes students take the batteries out of the phones while she’s watching. As for iPads … they’re just computers – way too big to try to use during a test.

my grandsons school uses ITouch in the classroom for teaching instead of books. The school provides the device so that no one is left out and you can not download anything onto you own personal device. They are used only in the classroom and not taken home but homework is put online and you complete it online and submit and it is graded by the computer at school. What I want to know is exactly WHAT is the teacher doing except keeping the peace in the classroom. Don’t get me wrong I admire teachers but I think they need to cut some of the electronic stuff and go back to books and Paper homework. And ot everyone has access to a computer to complete the assignments. Just sayin.

ipad, hardware is great, software is extensive. but, if you don’t use itunes, or any i apps, then it is useless. also, people with ipads or tablets, don’t hold up your ipads at concerts, events, games, etc…
