I have a piano lesson after school. I'll be done with school except WAIT! Instead of freedom, here's MORE school. Just when i thought I was out, they pull me back in! Marigold: Is that a line from something? Phoebe: Yeah, probably.
and just wait Phoebe…depending on your profession, there is grad school, and then continuing education once you are out of grad school and ensconsed in your field…learning never stops!
Ah, school. As Bill Watterson pointed out in Calvin & Hobbes, you get only five years to be a kid before the rest of your life becomes tedious, wholly unfulfilling drudgery.
If you think that’s bad, Phoebe, don’t ever learn to drive and instead wait one to two hours a day for Mom and Dad to pick you up from the library after work because the city bus doesn’t go all the way home.
Ah, the bits that escape from their source and take on a life of their own. Leading to things like:“I don’t see what’s so great about Shakespeare, it’s nothing but a bunch of cliches strung together.”

Now that you’re so respectable, I think you’re more dangerous than ever. I liked you better when you were just a common girl
