I’m as unimpressed as Peter when Jason added the “dotcom” to his site’s name.

Some how, Peter always falls fool to Jason’s schemes, Roger is the one who accidentally persuades Jason into doing them, and Andy is the one who accidentally brought it up in the first place.

Back in the 1990’s when Bill wrote this, it made complete sense. “Dot Com’s” were all the rage and investment capitalists were literally throwing money at just about anything that had a “.com” address. And many businesses had long, ugly URLs. If you don’t remember this, go look at some of the e-mall news stories on your Pentium II, if you still have it…
