jason_chatfield - Good luck in getting him to take your strip as a joke. He tends to take most strips too literally. I’ve homeschooled my sons all the way from the beginning through high school. I understand that collective nouns aren’t a large part of a language arts curriculum, but I still can appreciate the humor. (Or humour, since you’re an Aussie.)
@rac0308
A torrent isn’t the actual website, it’s short for bit torrent, the protocol for the P2P you describe. It’s also often used for the file being shared.

My life has been immeasurably enhanced and enriches, and I have been greatly edified and other e-words, by the knowledge that larks gather in exaltations, crows in murders, ravens in conspiracies, lions in prides, and girls in giggles. (There is no word listed for a gathering of pre-teen boys, I humbly suggest the word “din.”)

Jason, Mr. D does that frequently. As a matter of fact i sometimes read his posts when my self esteem is low. He always makes me feel smart.
Just wait until he insults you…..
At any rate, i’d like to commend you on this strip. i always read it and it makes me smile. Plus, your collective noun words are a riot. i look forward to them, unlike some bricks around here…
never me, and thank you for that. i have seen you be very short with others, but then, i don’t know if there is a history there. i do read comments, and you seem quick to anger at times. in your defense, it looks like some people gang up on you and that’s not fair, and i wish they would stop, but overall it seems that it ought to beneath everyone to get so critical.
after all, these ARE comics, etc.
we haven’t rattled sabers and i hope we don’t, but why do you criticize this artist and cartoonist? if you can do him one better, please do so. if not, it seems very unfair. he puts his creativity out there for the masses and some of us feel obligated to pick at it as if it our duty to point out imperfection. all i am saying is make yourself amazing then go after others, ok?
to quote jason, “I fear you may be taking the strip too literally. It’s not a factual story, it’s a joke.”
a joke i like…

Love it! Excellent answer!
I assume Aussie copyright laws aren’t as outrageous as some are in the United States.

An actress? Now that’s a weird non-sequitur.
That’s why I’m not a big fan of translations.

Mr. Chatfield, perhaps you should consider engaging Joe as a consultant. You have far too much humor in your strip. This must be rectified

Chikuku -
someone will correct me if I’m wrong but a torrent is a website that uses peer to peer (computer to computer) filesharing.
Napster was one of the first.
