Hello Terry*. I guess that you really can’t get to heaven without a wing and a prayer.

@JAD, I thought that was my point…as for the wings and halo, it’s metaphor and symbolic: wings for freedom (of movement, standing for true freedom in God) and halo was the nimbus of light in which the redeemed stay forever.

Joe, that is one of my favorite verses, and has helped me through some arduous times. It was especially inspirational when I was preparing to walk a marathon, and in the marathon itself. I depended on it literally, obviously!
