The irony of this is that anyone daring to even ask questions about the Bush Administration’s “strategy” in Iraq would have been called a traitor by…Cheney!
Hmm…maybe he’s just preprogrammed to say one word…
I think irish Eddie hit on something there. Maybe all this raspy noise is to increase Halliburton’s power (and taxpayer gifts of billions of $). Cheney always has a very specific purpose. This isn’t about his place in history, or how history will record his tenure. He’s got a hidden purpose that is specific and forward-looking.
Thanks, fennec. HOWGOZIT, I don’t think he did. Obama meet with Republicans early in the process and throughout. Certainly Olympia Snowe, but I’m pretty sure he met with others, too.
Senorbullwinkle, I really don’t think Richard Bruce Cheney is worried about being tried for the war crimes and crimes agains the peace he and his sidekick committed, at least if he doesn’t travel outside the US ; the US Empire, while on the decline and headed for a fall, will likely last longer than Mr Cheney’s ticker (of course, these organs have been known to be replaced, in which case all bets are off)….
Well whoever he met with or didn’t really doesn’t matter…what matters is the fact that this “Health Care Reform” bill is horrible! It seems to have written in is entirety by the insurance companies…dictated to Sen Bacus! Could someone PLEASE explain to me why all the politicians think that the rest of us are STUPID, and can’t figure out that they are just trying to placate us, their bosses. I am so sick of politics as usual, and the opposing side, parties, WHOEVER claiming its the other guys fault…

You know, Howie, this is a cartoon ABOUT Cheney. I think it’s not going too far afield to mention him and Bush…
