Mm, my barber was a WWII and Korean vet, and retired just four years ago … and then only because he had a bad shoulder that needed rehab. He cut hair in the same place for over fifty years, and the location had had a barbershop since the 1920s. Quincy Pointers still miss you, Chick Papile!

When my mother died at 87 she had but only 10 or so white hairs. Though hair color most commonly cross genders, my sister and I were fortunate enough to inheret her trait. Quite often too, the lack of selenium in the diet will bring about white hair.
Joe-Allen “Joe” Doty said, There is an evangelist who is also is a TV preacher who is several years older than me. A few years ago, his wife claimed he didn’t color his hair. But, his hair color varied from dark brown to almost black and back to dark brown.
Perhaps his wife was being truthful when she said he didn’t color his hair, but she may have withheld something– he is probably bald and has a few different toupees in a range of colors!

Savalas actually did wear one, but he was so darned bald that it didn’t really help.
