I read about a 95 year old man who lost everything in that Bernie Maddox ponzi scheme and had to get a job! He was a greeter in a supermarket.

He’ll have to cut his expenses, trim back his vacation plans, try to shave his debt, comb through his liquid assets, blow-dry his… awww, never mind.

By the way, the barber should be careful not to change that silhouette— don’t touch the cowlicks!

ScurvyDog1– I can’t get enough of Floyd the barber– such a hilarious and unique TV character. I wear my “Floyd’s Barber Shop” t-shirt so much, people have inquired after it when I don’t have it on. I found it on Zazzle.

We here never heard of Bernie Madoff until news had him on tv. We worked with a financial guy and have investments also receive routine documents where are at on money. Couldn’t invest a lot, soon my husband will start using that money since he will be turning 65 this fall. I will not have insurance since he will be on medicare. What happens when people like me marry someone much older.

I wish they’d make up their minds about Skeezix’s hair color. Blond? white? Blond growing out? White needing a color job? Come on….

I love the reflection in the third panel and Skeezix’s expression.

I live in a small town, but we don’t have a cool old barber shop like that. No matter, I cut my own hair anyway. I’m a big tightwad besides being a big grouch.
