Good Morning Ms. Margueritem. Yes, I would say Shuter is a regular Inspector Erskin. (Let’s just see who’s old enough to get that reference)

Watch your back, Shuter. You’re getting mighty close to cracking this case and exposing the Blue Circle.

Well today, as we see Agent Shuter contemplating the wreckage of the Helicopter it seems the Blue Circle is coming back into the FBI “focus”. Can’t understand why Shuter switched his attention elsewhere after that “bugged” case led to the Blue Circle HQ (?)

Then, you have to wonder how culpable is Warbucks (?) Some seem to think that his climb to financial success (no matter how hard earned, along with thrift) brands him as a “Capitalist”. A label that apparently carries no distiction between him and the Blue Circle “bad guys” (?)

Q.E.D.? Is being “Rich” somehow wrong ? Are the “Rich” automatically “unethical” and “uncareing” for the fellow man (?) I see that Will Smith aspires to be a politician. Yes, he’s the same color, and is well known. He also has flappy ears like Obama but I don’t think that those “predilections” by themselves necessarily make him Presidential “material”.

Then, HectorPriam speculates that if Warbucks died, Annie Warbucks may well inherit his “riches” and become the new C.E.O. of Warbucks Worldwide. Would the aquisition of wealth automatically innoculate her with all the vicissitudes as our friend ascribed to the “Capitalist” position above ?

Think about it - and you decide !

But it really seems illogical to “reason” that everyting that swims in the sea is a fish

Sydney, what about Venezuela? Hugo has nationalized many of the industries, kicked out the evil capitalists, and now Venezuela is thriving! Oh, wait…they’re not? Must be our fault.

Joe, I’ll risk getting flamed to try to answer your question, though others may have answers that are different from mine. First, I agree with you on many of your comments. However, when you post something like the “freaking” comment above, true though it is, it accomplishes nothing. Everyone already knows that it’s a euphemism for a vulgar word, but you come off as a scold. Do you think it will make Dogmore stop using the word? I don’t think so. It appears self-righteous on your part, though. Next, even when folks politely disagree with you, you often come back with insults. You’ve done that to me in the past. Christians should not be known for insulting others. I don’t mind being corrected when I’m mistaken, as others here can testify; but no one likes to be insulted, Christian or not. Christians are to be salt and light, not hydrochloric acid. Everyone rambles a bit in these comments. I’m one of the big offenders. Sydney’s comments are usually on topic, although today they drifted off. He’s referring to a rather nasty exchange that occurred here last week, and to my shame I let myself get baited into a heated topic. But you seem to ramble off topic more often than anyone else. I for one have enjoyed many of your rambles, but at times even the rambles drift away from the ramble topic itself. A “double ramble” does get boring. Next, people do make grammatical and spelling errors, but you generally are very sarcastic when correcting them. Errors may be ignored, or corrected gently (preferably with a smiley), but to make someone feel stupid in front of the rest of us is not appropriate. You yourself get very upset when made to look foolish. Everyone else feels the same way. Put yourself in their shoes. Hint: the phrase “There is no one named … in this strip” comes off as being sarcastic and insulting. “I think you meant to say…” sounds better. Nothing at all is probably best. Some people, through no fault of their own, cannot put themselves in others’ shoes. They seem to think they are the only ones who feel insulted or hurt. If this is the case with you, I’m not qualified to help, but perhaps you can read your own post and ask, “Was there a gentler or more polite way I could have gotten my thought across?” Joe, I hope you receive this in the spirit it was given. If you ‘d like to discuss this topic with me off-line, you can write me at raycmelbourne@hotmail.com. In case the underscores got garbled by the comment parser, it’s ray(underscore)c(underscore)melbourne@hotmail.com. Flame me if you want to, I won’t respond to it, you’ll get the last word; but you did ask the question.
